CONCEPT: For the second annual Embedded Exchange Dinner, Marqeta asked me to elevate the experience into a full tech-driven spectacle, transforming Capitol Arts’ photography studio into an immersive, projection-mapped environment for execs. Partnering with Foxtail Catering and Duster Electronics, the white cyc was reimagined as a dynamic visual landscape that shifted throughout the multi-course meal. The evening opened with LED-lit appetizer trays, dry-ice-plumed crudités, and a DIY bar where guests crafted their own cocktail bitters or syrups—setting the tone for a night centered around experimentation and sensory play.
After dinner, attendees were guided to a hidden dessert room accessible only by a secret knock, reinforcing the exclusivity and theatricality of the event. Inside, guests received custom cocktails infused with the bitters they created earlier, completing the narrative loop. A wax-seal finishing station allowed each attendee to stamp and bottle their personalized creation to take home. The result was a networking experience engineered to feel cutting-edge, intimate, and entirely one-of-a-kind—an elevated evolution of the Embedded Exchange series.
